Hallelujah Christ is Risen!

He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! … Matt. 28:6.

Dear Mission Partner,

Easter greetings at this special Foundational Moment of our Christian faith. Our future and hope is in Christ fulfilling His promise to rise again from the dead. All our doctrines and faith are built upon the firm foundation of this single historical event. The Apostle Paul declared, “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain”. 1.Cor.15:14. He continues, “But now is Christ risen from the dead…V20. Christ himself declared-“ I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore…” Rev. 1:18. And He added, “Because I live, you also will live”. Jn. 14:19. In the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead we have an eternal hope in Heaven with Him – beyond the grave. Edward Mote (1834) wrote the hymn, On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand. The first line declares,  “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness…”.  When our faith is anchored in Christ alone, our eternal future is secure. Be blessed today, Jesus lives – “… for evermore”!.

Prayer Requests – Pray for:

Special Prayer For This Banquet. There have been many changes in the details of the banquet. There are new added costs, food prices have changed considerably. Total costs must be paid well in advance. It has become a much more expensive function than in previous years.

Thank you for your help in the past. Please be in prayer, that this need will also be underwritten. When the cost can be sponsored, 100% of funds are then available for the mission account.

The National Worker. The Pastors and workers that we support or partially support, need our prayers. They are working under the most difficult of circumstances. Many have lost large numbers of their congregations by Covid-19, sickness or unemployment. Consequently, the pastor’s support is at a minimum. Many try to work at negligible income, to earn a few dollars.

The Recent Bible College Graduates. In our different countries, dozens of young men and women have graduated, trusting God of ministry opportunity to open up for them. The small local church is under much pressure and is not in a position to offer them either ministry or a small income.

The Support GOF Provides To Other Home and Overseas Ministries. Global Outreach continues to support soul winning ministries. Several are supported every month. The gospel is preached via satellite to every corner of the globe, and by special phone chip equipment, into the remotest jungles. Global has support for Home Missions, the Ukraine Travesty, and the Impoverished right here in BC. Pray for our work to assist Mercy Ships in Medical Missions and the vast work of Samaritan’s Purse. Your faithful continuing support on a monthly basis enables us to change our world for eternity.

Shirley’s and My Continued Good Health. Recently we  both had a ‘bug’ that totally knocked us off our feet. Thank the Lord we are now feeling we are on our way to normal health. My spinal condition continues to cause me concern and great pain. A week or so ago I had a hospital medical procedure, two hours on the table in Langley hospital. This was my third procedure and it does subdue the pain somewhat.

We know God heals and have seen thousands healed in ministry; and we have also not seen healings. We thank Him for healing for today, tomorrow is in His hand. In relation to tragic conditions we have seen in the past, my condition is like a cold or headache. It doesn’t stop me preaching or ministering by whatever platform, around the world. We have never been more effective in global ministry.

While walking out of Langley hospital a week ago, feeling quite flat after a taxing medical procedure, I approached the automatic doors. Just in front of me was a lady pushing a wheelchair. I broke stride and stepped aside to allow her to exit first. Later on the forecourt as cars picked up patients, I saw her again with a middle aged gentleman in the wheel chair;  a double amputee from just below both knees. Whatever my condition; whatever yours, we are so blessed. Rejoice, He is risen indeed! “…And again I say, Rejoice” Phil.4:4.

Shirley and I love you and thank God for your fellowship. Thank you for your faithful partnership with us over so many years. You are such a strength for us. May your Easter be a blessed time!

In His love and service.
