“…Their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” Rom 10:18
Dear Mission Partner,
Global Outreach Foundation – Annual Fellowship Support Banquet. Address: GARDEN PARK TOWER 2825 Clearbrook Rd Abbotsford. : Location: Magnolia Room Time: Fri. Oct.20 at 6:30PM.
Speaking of the Annual GOF Complimentary Banquet, the big event is fast approaching on Friday Oct. 20. This is in recognition of the 40th. anniversary of Shirley and my ministry, beginning our overseas missions in 1984. Before that we were both in western ministry from our youth. It also recognises the 80th, anniversary of my salvation and learning to walk with Holy Spirit leading.
With new management at Garden Park Tower, we are now required to submit our number of attendees weeks before the event. And also to pay in advance. For this reason it would be a real blessing to us if you could confirm your coming as soon as possible. Please feel free to invite with you a mission minded couple or perhaps a younger couple interested in overseas missions.
Please confirm from now on by text or phone to 604 807 5678, or by email to: jabraham@globalcanada.org or my personal email to johnabraham@shaw.ca
We thank God for you! You and we together are sounding the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Every dollar you invest in GOF is lazer focused on winning souls to Jesus Christ. Using the technology available to us, satellites scattered around the globe carry the message of salvation 24 hours a day seven days a week. This results in thousands coming to Christ and innumerable lives changed for eternity.
By contrast, last week in Abbotsford, just by casual witness, two of three strangers I witnessed to, accepted Christ and prayed a salvation prayer. Some time ago, my taxi driver came to Christ and was instantly healed of a life threatening disease. Praise the Lord.
As I write this, Davis has been in the Middle East and is now in Uganda, Africa with his new bride, Sophia. They are leading souls to Christ in Uganda on a regular basis, as together with the team, he shares the gospel to sex trade workers and child slavery victims. Pray for Davis and his wife Sophia as they, witness ‘one on one’ and in house groups and open airs, share the gospel and disciple young believers, some from his earlier humanitarian ministry in Uganda.
With their various projects, Davis reaches prostitutes and sex trade workers who are being impacted. Some are now free to earn their money through the business opportunities Davis offers, Praise the Lord, Part of your giving helps a little to support some of Davis and Sophia’s project’s expense in Uganda. Thank You!
We have all been enjoying an idyllic summer, but the holiday relaxed mood is not helping our GOF Summer cash-flow. Between June and October can be out most difficult and pressured time to honour our overseas ministry budgets. Your faithfulness has been so appreciated. Thank you for standing with us now until the October Banquet time.
Davis and Sophia are presently ministering in Uganda and have sent the following pictures and report.
Uganda July 23′

Sophia and I were married on June 27th we had a lovely honeymoon in Greece and Turkey and on the 9th of July headed to Uganda to check in on the ministry there, to minister to and counsil the ladies we are working with and also to re-supply with our Floopy Freedom brand merchandise for future ministry.

It is my fourth time to Uganda but Sophia’s first time to Africa or even first time to a third world country. It has been amazing to witness and be part of her first experience here. She has quickly affectionately taken on the role of “Auntie Sofie” and now in turn as I am now a married man I have become “Uncle Dave”.

t has been amazing spending time with the girls. We had a chance to preach to the girls of the new tailoring program and minister to them. We were amazed by how they received our sharing. We invited them to come for prayer 1 on 1 over the course of the afternoon and it took a few hours for us to make our way through all that wanted prayer ministry. We had powerful prayer time but one that especially stood out was a young girl was very receptive to Sophia and what she shared she was a orphan that had been sexually abused but she came to us and said she wanted to take God seriously and invite the Prince of peace into her life.
We were so happy to pray with her and we were touched by our time of prayer with her and her testimony.

In an earlier report from Jerusalem, Davis sent this story of God’s provision.
I told our friend Jessica about my trip to Jerusalem, and she said she had been praying about coming to Israel. Fast forward a few weeks and Jessica comes to help us at David’s tent (A big conference in the south of England). When she was there she prayed that if God wanted her to be at the Convocation in Israel He would give her confirmation by providing the exact amount on money she needed (she didn’t have any money because she just finished 4 years of Bible school). During worship at the event, she got the chance to do prophetic art at one of the worship sessions.
After painting for a few hours, she took a break. During the break a woman ran up to her and found her and said “Did you paint that painting? I’ve been looking for you everywhere. When I walked by your art God told me I need to buy it from you, and I will pay whatever you say it will cost.” Jessica then said “would you pay $1,469 (the exact price of the Convocation)?” The lady agreed. Jessica was so encouraged by this that even though she hadn’t bought her plane tickets she knew God wanted her here and the rest would figure itself out. Praise the Lord!
Shirley and I wish you God’s best in this Summer season. Enjoy His good health and blessing. Do please remember to respond to the Banquet invitation promptly and do please also bring your closest friends to this exciting 40th. anniversary.
You are loved in Jesus name!
